Babette Pauthier

Babette Pauthier's landscapes of India are so incredibly amazing to me, more like paintings then photos. The lighting and use of color for these portraits, i thought was really nice as well.

Nuria Mora

Madrid based street artist Nuria Mora adds serious charm to various cities with her signature bright geometries and designs.
(Nuria, if your by chance reading this blog, please note you have my full permission to paint my door any time you get ready)

Tina Kalivas

Zarafshan, 2008 collection from Tina Kalivas, is stellar! The neon fabrics, mixing with solid neutrals, sturdy hardware and worldly patterns is where it's at. Adding this designer to my favorites, straight away!

The Joy of the Mundane

Stumbling upon Ian Talty aka "The Joy of the Mudane", via Wooster Collective, proved both exciting and sad. exciting in that i absolutely love this man's angle on photography and sad to learn that he is no longer around, after being swept into the Mississippi river, while taking pictures in a tunnel, in 2009...quite tragic.
His photography takes you on a journey through urban sprawls such as graffiti walls, industrial scraps, bridges, tunnels, train tracks and outside goodness. his work is so creative and good, i literally spent hours looking at his flickr page, the titles for each image are equally thrilling.
